Never pour hot water on your windscreen to melt the ice on it, there's a high chance it'll crack from the sudden change in temperature. Have you never had this happen in the kitchen before? My husband put a Pyrex dish fresh from the oven under the cold tap and it literally exploded in his hands. Instead use room temperature water. I know it'll talk a little longer but you won't have to replace your windscreen. Dude!
