It might just be me, but I think that the link isn’t working? I found the site though, and it looks awesome!

Lou, thank you! Not sure why it didn’t work but it’s fixed now. Thanks so much for letting me know :)

    Congratulations :) It looks great.

It’s weird, I suspect you might be in my head without knowing it– a couple of your designs are practically identical to the things I’d planned to make various ppl (or myself) for Christmas. Mainly the bag, brooch and tea wallets- crazy! Good thing you do other things I don’t do (like jewellery ang buttons), so I still have things to contemplate buying :)

Are the prices in australian dollars? I have no idea how much an AUS$ is. Will Google immediately.

DHG, The tea wallets and brooches are things I made last time I was selling online. I found the link I first learned those brooches from, it’s like 5 years old! crazy times…

    Sharnee, thanks :D

JenTwin, yes, all madeit is Aussie so all AUD. You win coming from ¥ to AUD.

Congrats on opening. One thing on your policies – based on paypal rules, registered post is for the seller’s protection, not the buyer’s. If something doesn’t arrive, and the buyer raises a dispute, you’ll be required by paypal to provide evidence of postage (only registered post tracking number is accepted) – if you can’t, they will find in the buyer’s favour.

However registered post isn’t necessary for anything under $50 – if you post things AT the post office and keep the receipts, that’s all you need to claim up to $50 in lost items – you just fill out a claim form.

I would never buy anything from anyone who wouldn’t replace or refund if the item didn’t arrive – especially because the seller CAN claim from Aus Post. Think of it this way – if you paid for something in a bricks & mortar shop, and they had to order it in for you – if it got lost on the way there and they told you bad luck, would you stand for it? No way!

Sorry to rant but I’ve spent way too long around the ebay forums and so know all about paypal/aus post/lost items :)

Amy, thanks so much. I didn’t know that, and it sounds ideal for both buyer and seller. Rant away, I always love to know stuff like this, it only makes my business better :D
