Somewhere Something is a small design practice with an interest in memory, culture and place. We spend most of our time crafting identities.
Based in Naarm (Melbourne), we like collaborating with like-minded individuals and small businesses to create thoughtful, creative, engaging environments and put meaningful work out into the world. Optimists at heart, we work with brands and people who wish to be part of a positive change for a better future.
Alongside our branding work, we also have an interest in stationery and paper goods which we explore through our online shop Maybe Today.

We Do :

- Branding & Identity
- Print Design

Somewhere Something is:

Natasha Maben, an architect and designer born in Bombay, based in Melbourne.
As an architect she has dedicated over 10 years to honing the craft of architectural thinking whilst working with several influential design practices on award winning residential, institutional and infrastructural projects.
As a design practitioner she explores the agency of the built environment in understanding the complexities of habitation and consumption.
With a naturally collaborative approach to her design process, she believes that a comprehensive and integrated expression of a project is best achieved through open engagement with her clients.
Building upon her architectural training as a creative mediator she brings together different forms of knowledge and emotional currency to her work in branding and visual identity.

We learn, work, live and play on the traditional land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation.

We pay our respects to the past, present and emerging Traditional Custodians of this land and we acknowledge the traditions and stories that have shaped generations.
