Somewhere Something is a small design practice with an interest in memory, culture and place. We spend most of our time crafting visual identities.
Optimists at heart, we work with brands and people who wish to be part of a positive change for a better future. We believe considered, conceptually driven, thoughtful and engaging ideas, shared with like-minded individuals and small businesses, enable us to put lasting, meaningful work out into the world.
Alongside our graphic design and branding work, we also have an interest in stationery and paper goods which we explore through our online shop maybe today.

Process

Our approach may be described as Considered Intuition.
We believe design can be used to shift perspectives, articulate meaningful narratives and uncover deep connections. When approaching a project, we think good solutions should be logical, meet the brief, but should also feel right with an awareness of its position in the world.
With each project, we aim to understand the true problem at hand, and are considered, purposeful and deliberate in how we approach it. We also value our intuitive awareness and ability to facilitate an empathetic and respectful dialogue through collaboration.
We see our role as enablers that articulate and refine a client or brand's vision and guide its trajectory using our experience as designers and the well-honed craft of design.
At heart, we believe the details matter - It’s the little things that make a place, a brand, or identity, feel human.

We learn, work, live and play on the traditional land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation.

We pay our respects to the past, present and emerging Traditional Custodians of this land and we acknowledge the traditions and stories that have shaped generations.
